P.I.R.A.T.E.S.
|
Become part of a group of adventurers who seek to locate famous lost treasures of Antiquity. Battle wits with unscrupulous collectors as you race them to the conclusion of the case! The People In Research And Treasure Exploration Society (P.I.R.A.T.E.S.) is looking for persons capable of intense search and skillful reasoning. To help in this endeavor, The Society has assembled various documents, song lyrics, photographs, maps and drawings.
|
Resource personnel such as a librarian, archaeologist, photographer, laboratory technologist and lighthouse keeper are ready to answer your questions. With this new collection of information available through The Society, you will be able to sift through the accounts and aids, and piece together the locations of these lost treasures.

Even though these treasures have long eluded many attempts at discovery, we now have every confidence their locations are within our grasp. P.I.R.A.T.E.S. welcomes you and is excited over the addition of your keen analytical mind and deduction powers.
P.I.R.A.T.E.S. was co-invented and co-written by Jo A. Hiestand and Madaleaze Cramer, combining their loves of games and mysteries. Through trial and various versions, the game evolved into its present form.
The game is available in two editions: the Original Edition, consisting of 6 cases, each one based on a real pirate and a factual event in his/her life. Edition 2 consists of 8 cases, each based on an element of British medieval life (pub signs, nursery rhymes, castle architecture, Elizabethan music….). Theme party ideas are included so you can host your own P.I.R.A.T.E.S. evening.

The P.I.R.A.T.E.S. game is now available through this web site (using PayPal) for $25.00 plus shipping. It is recommended for 1 to 12 players - either playing solo, teams or as a group - aged 14 to adult. I hope you enjoy playing the game, but remember: if the map showed where the treasure is, it wouldn’t be lost. Good hunting!
